Tips on Reducing the Risk of Suffering from Cancer


Cancer is still a dreadful disease to human beings nowadays. People generally would like to learn more information about cancer treatments and preventions when they hear about it. Here are some tips on how to reduce the risk of cancer.
 Smoking has been linked to various types of cancer — including cancer of the lung, bladder, cervix, kidney, oral cavity and pancreas.
2. Have a healthy diet
1)      Intake plenty of fruits and vegetables.
2) Control the intake of high-fat food.
3) Reduce the dose of alcohol drinking.  
3. Maintain weight and stay active
Maintaining a healthy weight may lower the risk of various types of cancer, including cancer of the breast, prostate, lung, colon and kidney. A 30- minute physical activity everyday may lower the risk of breast cancer and colon cancer, too.
4. Protect yourself from the sun
1) Avoid midday (from10 a.m. to 4 p.m) sun.
2) Stay in the shade when you're outdoors
3) Cover your exposed body areas.
4) Don't skimp on sunscreen.
5) Avoid tanning beds and sunlamps.
5. Get immunized
1) Take Hepatitis B vaccine.
2) Give human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
6. Avoid risky behaviors
1) Practice safe sex.
 2) Don't share needles.
Regular self-exams and professional screening for various types of cancers — such as cancer of the skin, colon, prostate, cervix and breast, which can increase your chances of discovering cancer early, when treatment is most likely to be successful.
