The immune
system is the most important system of the body when it comes to preventing
diseases. It also restricts tumors and cancerous growths inside the body. We
are all born with different levels of immune systems. Some have a stronger
immune system than others. But there are many factors such as person’s sleep,
diet, mood and age, etc will affect the immune system.
Insomnia –it’s
easy to directly or indirectly lead to tumors. The expert explained that many
immune cells are generated during the night or mature, and build a “firewall”
for our health. If you often stay up late or not sleep, these immune cells cannot
work properly fulfill its responsibility of guardianship.
Eating –
immune cells by the protein cells. If the diet is not balanced or malnutrition,
it will lower the immune system, especially a lack of protein, more so.
Proteins are the material basis of the immune defense functions, daily
therefore should be appropriate to eat more protein-rich foods such as lean
meat, milk, fish and shrimp, and legumes. Prolonged and excessive consumption
of refined sugars and highly processed foods containing pesticides, chemical
additives, and preservatives can weaken the immune system and make you
vulnerable to developing chronic conditions.
Aging – older
people’s immune function will be weaker than the young. There is about 60% Cancer
patients are the elderly. To enhance immunity, in addition to a balanced diet,
mood, work and rest, proper exercise, usually also eat natural antioxidant
foods, such as vitamin E, C, β-carotene, copper, selenium, etc., from the
potato intake of green tea, citrus fruits, broccoli, milk, fish, wheat, cherry,
strawberry, watermelon, tomatoes. If necessary, could be considered to adjust
the immune agents.
Emotional – is
closely related with tumor. The study found that hostility, grief, loss,
sadness and other negative emotions can lead to decreased immunity while lively
and cheerful character and a happy mood will improve the body immunity.
American scholars have to conduct an investigation into the 8000 cancer
patients, most patients with malignant tumors in 2012 have encountered a number
of life events before the onset of frequent disappointment, loneliness and
other heavy blow to the spirit of pressure to spend. In addition, Chronic
stress -- caused by stressful situations or events that last over a long period
of time can make you more susceptible to colds and the flu, as well as more
serious health problems like heart disease, diabetes and other diseases.
Others factors
that will weaken the immune system may include drinking, smoking, radiation
exposure, lack of proper hygiene habits and excessive use of medicines and so
on.
